ANP to bring peace, stability, claim local leaders

PESHAWAR: Vice president of Awami National Party (ANP) city district Peshawar chapter Amir Jan and former secretary general Inayatullah Khan has felicitated Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Syed Aqil Shah, Attifur Rehman and other party leadership for victory in the February 18 general elections.

In a joint press release issued here on Saturday, they said that the general elections have proved that Pakhtun nation has joined ANP platform for bringing peace and stability to their homeland.

They said the chief minister would be from from ANP, similarly they stated that at federal level the nationalist party would play its vital and leading role in formation of a coalition government.

ANP in past had served the province and in future the nationalist party would struggle for their rights and resources.

They said that ANP besides resolving the sufferings of Frontier would also rename the province as according to the spirit and wills of Pakhtun nation.

felicitates new MPs

Awami National Party (ANP) women wing leader Zahira Khattak Saturday felicitated the newly elected members of the provincial assemblies and national assembly.

She was addressing a meeting of the women wing held in Bacha Khan Markaz Peshawar.

She said that the heavy mandated victory of ANP was a clear verdict of Pakhtun nation that they are neither terrorist nor extremists. Pakhtun nation desires for peace and extinguishing the fire that has brought only bloodshed for them, she added.
