Will 2012 bring a ray of hope for NSC men?

you randomly walk into the Qissa
Khwani, Namak Mandi or Tehkal branches of the National Saving
Centre, you may notice elderly widows and forgetful account
holders putting their thumb marks on to cheque books or vainly
arguing with the cashier about the monthly profit that has
already been drawn or the one which is not yet due. Located in
posh areas, the Cantonment, Defence Colony (Army Stadium) and
Hayatabad branches have better educated customers but the rush
of work and the exasperation on both sides are the same.
The man at the counter tries to
convince them by showing the ledger or computer screen and thus
